Here are some innovative ways to better take care of your business –house business, that is. Reuse books as furniture. If you love reading books, you must have loads of books in your house. A smart way to keep them is to use them as side tables by piling them up and topping it with a board game (if you’re also a board game lover). One pile can be topped with a tray to hold TV remote controls. Put away toys near the tub. This allows your children to play while waiting for their bath. Instead of carrying in toys to and from the rest of your house, store them on a counter or in waterproof bags. Create a glass jar containing papers with writings in them i.e. household chores. Each week, make your kids reach into the jar to pick a household chore that they should do. Each job yields different amount of money, depending on the difficulty of the chore. This can make them feel as if they are grown up and working for money. They can keep their savings in clear coin banks. Old crates can be revamped into a new item with new use. Arrange and clean up toys and then store them in the wooden crates. These old crates can be bought at yard sales or vintage shops for a few bucks. Pick a sturdy crate so that your kids can drag and play with them outside the house. Another crate can also serve as a storage area for books. If there are unused corners on your kids’ bedroom, do not let those go to waste. You can look for useful items such as tall lockers for storage of their clothes. You can also use souvenirs as storage. Some packaging of items such as old cigars can be used for storage of e.g. cotton swabs. If you have perky and bright cookware, why not show them off? Displaying your fabulous line of cookware not only makes guests appreciate your love for bright colored cookware but also saves up storage for other stuff since you can just place them on open shelves or on the counter-top. Aside from that, it can also brighten up your kitchen and make it livelier. You can talk about...
